Email can be one of the most confusing and frustrating services to set up and manage. However, Google has brilliantly developed a system to host and manage email that, in our opinion, is the gold standard. We use it ourselves, and recommend it to anyone we talk to. For businesses, it's a nominal $50 a year per person (as of March 2011), and for non-profits it's free, yes free.
We don't typically toot the horn of every company that we use, but email is such a vital component of what we do that we can't help but mention the great service that Google provides.
